Dreams are a key to spiritual growth that  awaken in us the ability to find truth and wisdom. Our souls will witness a subconscious level of spirituality.

Types of Dreams:

1.  LUCID DREAMS

Lucid dreaming means dreaming while knowing that you are dreaming and usually begins in the midst of a dream when the dreamer realizes that the experience is not occurring in physical reality, but is a dream.

Lucid dreamers regularly describe their dreams as exciting, colorful and fantastic. Many compare it to a spiritual experience and say that it changed their lives or their perception of the world.

To actually have a lucid dream you merely have to recognize that you are dreaming. Realizing you are dreaming may not seem all that special, but becoming aware that you are dreaming presents the opportunity of controlling dreams. The idea is that once you are aware you are dreaming you can alter your dreams and dictate what happens: you can do anything you’ve ever wanted and go anywhere you’ve ever desired.

2.  OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCES

You are lying in bed, apparently awake, when suddenly you experience a range of primarily somatic sensations, often including vibrations, heaviness, and paralysis. Then you experience the vivid sensation of separating from your "physical body" in what feels like a second body, often floating above the bed.

It is believed that lucid dreaming is a "stepping stone" to the OBE.

The Out of Body Experience happens to only about 10 percent of the population.  Perharps it is because we have not been taught to deal with such things.  Also, religions and other factors in our upbringing label such experiences as being very strange and therefore, we should not venture there.

The Out of Body Experience is an awesome experience to behold.    Some people who begin to enter an OBE state become frightened and back out of it, often times labeling it as a nightmare.  In reality, it is not a nightmare at all.  It is a part of the being human that offers us a gift to explore realms of our existence in an altered state of conciousness.

An out of body experience can be learned, just as any skill can be learned.  There are many authors of this subject that provide detailed instruction  about how to acheive the Out of Body Experience.
